#Miercolitos & Vogue China


This week for #Miercolitos, we decided to get a little flowery! Instead of a traditional cocktail, we created a rose-infused simple syrup to add to our champagne and garnished with rose petals. Then for dessert, we served apricots drizzled with orange blossom water, fresh yogurt, honey & pistachios! It was absolutely perfect, easy and sooo delicious!


Unfortunately, I was too caught up during the evening to photograph anything (besides my beautifully arranged bouquets).  In spite of this slip up, I do have something fabulous and floral(-ish) to share: this Vogue China editorial titled Wild Flower. The model, Lara Stone, is a well heeled blossom (wearing the likes of Emilio Pucci, Lanvin & Tom Ford) in the haute, barren dessert; definitely a Wild Flower!

Growing up in Arizona, I find something so mesmerizing about the dessert - there is something so raw and romantic about it. Probably one of the highlights of this shoot for me.  Stone is ravishing and of course the fashion is to die for. Would you call this petal-envy??
