Mary Katrantzou is definitely on my radar! This young up-and-coming Greek designer is taking the fashion world by storm. A recent graduate from Central Saint Martins, Katrantzou has a strong sense of style, color and form. Looking at Mary Katrantzou's Spring and Fall 2011 runway collections litterally makes me want to cry! Insanely beautiful, each outfit is a work of art masterpiece. The way this designer uses print is both inspiring and playful with large balloon skirts boasting fishbowl graphics and silhoutte dresses with landscape mirages. If you don't have thousands of dollars to buy one of her dresses, perhaps you can shell out a couple hundred for one of Katrantzou's silk blend scarves (available at Barney's, Harvey Nichols & net-a-porter.com) which also carry the designer's signature prints. After spring's unforgettable living room dresses and lampshade skirts & fall's asian inspired florals, I can't wait to see what is to come in 2012!
