It was my grandfather's birthday on Tuesday so we had a casual little party for him. Being an early evening event, I had just enough time to run home after work and throw on a more festive top, some heels and poppin' lipcolor to turn a work outfit into a fuunnnn outfit! This is what I wore..

“Through the Decades”

These incredibly inspired shots of Elsa Hosk & Marianna Santana are from the Carefree 70's chapter of Free People's "Through the Decades" book by David Bellemere.  The looks are so reminiscent of the hippie culture of the time and the timeless bohemian looks it has left behind. While Free People boasts a notoriously eclectic selection of 70's staples, when you are looking to recreate the feel of these looks these items will also definitely be on your must-have list:

Elizabeth Olsen, younger sis to Mary Kate & Ashley, is following in her big sis' fashionable footsteps.  The young starlet is definitely one of the hottest trendsetters right now, gracing the pages of big-name magazines and fashion sites alike.  With iconic sisters Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, Elizabeth will have a lot to live up to --  but so far it doesn't look like she'll have any trouble!!

Oh..and PS. that sparkly confetti top she is wearing (above) is from Topshop! I just got it earlier this month so if you love it too, I'm sure you can still get yours! ;)
